“We've had Sojourn playing in the car all week, your best work yet, you should be proud! I enjoy the Ron Fricke photography in Godfrey Reggio's "Koyaanisqatsi", however, the Phillip Glass score makes me weary. Probably rightly so, the Qatsi trilogy is a philosophically bleak view of civilization and technology. Remarkably just a bit a go the high paced images of the "technologic terra firma" (Reggio) were transformed by Sojourn's calming and sense of peace. A Technostolic Experience?” Byron Liddle
“I first listened to this CD while stuck in a 2 1/2 hour Seattle traffic jam. It's wonderfully refreshing and new, yet harkens to the old with its musical foundation based on ancient church melodies. Play it enough--as I did while sitting in traffic-- and certain tracks jump out: #5 is my favorite, with #1 and #8 close behind. Whether in traffic or in prayer, this CD is relaxing, contemplative, and imaginative.” Helen Holter (Farnell)
